All supposing we could understand even the ones that are in English - so called!

I just wish we could make it more difficult for them to post. Right now all they have to do is register and the BB is theirs.

Pioneer of the French Realist novel

The answer as spelled gets only 32,000+ hits on Google whereas an alternative spelling gets Five million+. I tried the latter answer and when it did not work tried the former since it seemed more in keeping with what my idea of the spelling should be. I do not know which is correct. To anyone else s...

Phil once wrote a post about this very same thing. I just tried to find it but remember that we lost a couple of years' worth of posts some time back.

Anyway, I seem to remember that he said that if it's an obvious hyphen he doesn't warn for it.
