I have decided to change the question posted.Although the answer is a valid scrabble word,it is nevertheless an obsolete word.In addition,it is a variation in spelling of another word which means the same thing. Many apologies to all. Just for interest,the answer was the rare 'cronet'. Alternative words were 'coronet' and 'crownet'.
