any chance I can beg, wheedle, cajole the first two vowels in the answer? They seem to have been chosen arbitrarily. The first spelling I tried seems to be the spelling most of the web likes, but it didn't work and several vowel combos failed too.

The entire first word of the portmanteau is used, then the rest is from the second (with no doubled consonant).

I didn't get Paul's q. It was confusing to me, THEN, I saw the light on TV
I googled the word when I heard her say it and viola, there it was.
