First SNL actor w/Oscar nod
Now that it's cleared, I wanted to note that the answer to this question is incorrect.
Randy Quaid, who was a regular player the same season as Joan Cusack, received a nomination for best supporting actor in 1973 for "The Last Detail".

Hopper Q about nemesis
Upcoming question, probably not for at least a day, asks about the nemesis of a character. Forgot to specify, but the answer requires both the character's real first name and nickname.
Sorry for any confusion.

The night they drove ol' dixie down
Paucle,
There are several versions of the song. The original was by The Band and was sung (and co-written) by Robbie Robertson, neither of which is apparently the answer. Could you be a little more specific?
Thanks!

Re: Reunion/ "Life is a Rock"
Thanks for the feedback, guys! I'd never heard of that "tease-out metric" before. It's really interesting. I'll have to try and keep it in mind for future posts.
Thanks again,

If you don't mind my asking, what was it that made the question stand out to you? (Working on improving my future offerings.)

Q in queue
I have a question in the hopper that already needs a clarification. You'll understand this explanation once you see the question and search for the answer: Enter what the words are SUPPOSED to translate to, not what they jokingly translate to. Sorry for any confustion. -quimboat

Re: Brazil's most populous
Boy, this one was all over the place. The answer it finally accepted isn't anything close to Portuguese.
For anyone still attempting it, replace the last letter of the first word with an 'n', per Paucle's instruction above, and the third letter of the second word with a 'u'.
