ok, I tried googling this even putting in the right answer and no hits. I got it while watching the game (they reported it after Jeter hit his, revealing that 580 right-handed home runs had been hit since the last time a Yankee did it.

I've thought my whole life that the obscure trivia they use to fill up baseball broadcasts was ridiculous, but now the internet is full of the same kind of thing. The vast majority of what you hear during game broadcasts shows up in write ups of the game online, too. Don't know why this one didn't. It's kind of fun watching the Yankees have a relatively lousy year--almost as fun as it was watching the Lakers suck last season.
