Sorry if anyone was offended by the answer. I just thought it was interesting.

also found it interesting and hadn't realized there was a title before "Ten Little Indians" and "And Then There Were None"

What whiz said! I TOTHed "indians" and when it didn't work I actually sat a minute trying to think how you might've misspelled it. Then I looked it up!
"Wow!"

No offense taken here, many of her titles were changed at some point...it is what it is.
I've read about 60 of her books. I tried your answer first thinking it was probably wrong and the answer would be Indians...to my surprise I was right.

Turns out it isn't even "Indians" anymore. Now they call the nursery rhyme it's based on "Ten Little Soldier Boys." The book and play are usually called "And Then There Were None" still.

Many nursery rhymes have gone P.C. One that stands out is One Two, Buckle My Shoe. Nine, ten a big fat hen has a few different versions...nine, ten let's do it(start) again.
In the case of Christie's novel of the same title, it too, was changed a couple of times.

Better than "Nine, ten, a weight-challenged hen" I guess.

I saw a few minutes of a daytime talk show several months ago in which an ENORMOUS woman referred to herself as a "person of size."

I read a couple of books a few years ago, polically correct fairy tales. they re-wrote popular bedtime stories and made them PC...some were interesting
